While our president, Greg Smith, is known to pick up a hammer from time to time – especially when doing community service – he mostly directs the operations of our company and oversees projects. His real job is to assure our team is the best, and that it works like a well-oiled machine to give you a quality remodeling project and a quality remodeling experience.

The Greg Smith Company team is led by our president, Greg Smith who holds a Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (CKBR) certification from NARI. The team also includes hand-picked, experienced and long-serving project managers/lead carpenters, carpenters, helpers, and specialty trade contractors who have also been carefully selected based on their ability to deliver dependable quality, service and value. Our carpenters and senior staff average over 22 years professional experience and have been with the company an average of 5 1/2 years. We have worked with most of our specialty trade contractors for more than 5 years.

Greg Smith, certified kitchen and bath remodeler As shown by this photo of Greg at the tender age of 4, he launched his career as a remodeling contractor early. He started out as an apprentice carpenter and worked his way up to a Master Carpenter by the time he was in his early 30s. He is also a National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) member and a NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler. To keep his company in step with the remodeling industry’s best practices, Greg is a member of many professional organizations and actively participates in continuing education and business-skills development offered by NARI, MHBA, Remodelers Advantage Roundtables, and other resources.

Greg and his company have won some of the most prestigious remodeling industry awards in the country. Still, he is most proud of the awards he has won for his and the company’s community service efforts.
